Announcing XTERMIGATOR KIDS

New Year brings a new way of giving back to those we serve and well beyond with the creation of Xtermigator Kids, through the Dr. Disruptor Series, imagined by our very own Chief Xtermigator Dr. Eric Fishon.

Disrupting the Narrative: The Birth of XTERMIGATOR KIDS & The Power of Dr. Disruptor

For many of us with unseen disabilities, the world often operates on a system that wasn’t designed with us in mind. We navigate spaces that misunderstand us, advocate for ourselves in rooms that dismiss us, and push forward despite a society that too often sees our differences as limitations instead of strengths.

But what if we changed the story? What if we disrupted the old narratives and built something new?

That’s exactly why I created XTERMIGATOR KIDS and stepped into the role of Dr. Disruptor—not as a job, but as a mission.

Meet XTERMIGATOR KIDS: Where Every Child is Seen

A book series. A movement. A revolution for inclusion.

XTERMIGATOR KIDS is more than just a children’s book series—it’s a safe space where kids with unseen disabilities like ADHD, autism, anxiety, and chronic fatigue syndrome can see themselves as heroes.

Too often, children with disabilities grow up feeling like they’re “too much” or “not enough.” Schools and social spaces tell them to “focus more,” “calm down,” “try harder,” or “just be normal.”

But in XTERMIGATOR KIDS , different isn’t a problem—it’s a superpower.

At the heart of the series is XTERMIGATOR, a wise and warm-hearted alligator detective, leading his swamp friends on exciting adventures that teach kids self-acceptance, problem-solving, and friendship. Each story explores a different unseen disability, helping kids understand themselves and others in an engaging, heartwarming way.

Some of our featured characters:
✔Freddie the Frog & The Mighty Zoomies! (ADHD)
✔Ava the Fox & The Puzzle of Feelings (Autism)
✔Otis the Otter & The Worry Monster’s Trick (Anxiety)
✔Shelly the Turtle & The Mystery of the Missing Energy (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)

Every book is a tool for empowerment—helping kids, parents, and educators create conversations that normalize neurodiversity and celebrate differences.

At XTERMIGA TOR KIDS, we embrace the beauty of diversity. Together, we are unstoppable.

Enter Dr. Disruptor: Breaking Barriers & Rewriting the Rules

Title? Forget it. This isn’t just a career. It’s a calling.

Embracing the role of Dr. Disruptor involves not only adhering to established norms, but also redefining them.

People with disabilities have too long faced expectations to remain silent, blend in, or “overcome” their differences in order to succeed. But why should we change who we are to gain acceptance? What if the world just learned to accommodate us better?

So I made the choice:
To disrupt the old systems.
To amplify voices that have been ignored.
To create stories and platforms where unseen disabilities aren’t afterthoughts—they’re center stage.

Knowing where these pests like to hide will help narrow your search to more specific areas.  During the day, bed bugs tend to seek out dark locations in fabric folds, cracks, and corners. Because bed bugs have tiny, flat bodies, they can hide inside crevices as small as 2 millimeters wide.  The post How to Inspect Your Home for Bed Bugs appeared first on thextermigators.com/.

Store food in sealed containers Keep trash tightly lidded Trim trees and shrubs away from the house Seal cracks, gaps and crevices Don’t use mulch near the house If you have mulch already, turn it periodically so it dries properly Repair screens and doors Clean gutters In general, to manage spring-invading pests and prevent them from entering a structure, an effective preventive perimeter treatment should be implemented along with IPM approaches, such as pestproofing practices and habitat modifications. Remember, timing is a critical key to success. All pesticide applications and exclusion practices, such as replacing worn-out door sweeps, sealing all pest entry points, and managing outdoor lights, tightening screens, windows and doors, etc., should be made early enough before spring pests become active on or around a structure.
